A graduate of the University of Indonesia Faculty of Law, William began to practice law in 1997, specializing in labor and employment, bankruptcy and suspension of payments, commercial and general litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. Throughout his career, William has focused on litigation, racking up an impressive number of successful outcomes.

William started his career in law by joining an international law firm in Jakarta where due to his hard work as an associate he was recognized as one of the highest fee earners. He then joined and became one of the partners in another well-known law firm until finally forming William & Hendrik where he helped the firm to be recognized as a notable firm for Dispute Resolution practice area by Asialaw Profiles.

William now specializes in arbitration, dispute resolution, and bankruptcy management, creating an atmosphere of fairness and trust in delicate negotiations between, often, hostile parties.

As a member of Indonesia Labor Law Consultant Association and PERADI, Indonesia Bar Association, William has developed a close relationship with various governmental institution and authorities in through-out Indonesia, including national and multinational institutions, who can greatly benefit the legal services provided from time to time.

William also has broad experience with national and multinational companies in oil-and-gas, power plant, plantation, pharmaceutical, life science, aviation, and freight-forwarding businesses.
