In 1994, with a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia, Cindy joined Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo. She subsequently attended Stanford Law School, USA, receiving a Master of Science of Law degree in 1997, with a dissertation on Project Financing emphasising Legal and Economic Viabilities of Toll Road Projects in Indonesia. During her time at Stanford, Cindy gave talks regarding Project Finance on numerous occasions at Stanford University, the University of Hong Kong, and the University of Indonesia. Between 1994 and 2002, Cindy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Indonesia.

Cindy served in the Board of the Indonesian Angel Investment Network, which focuses on Women Start-Up Entrepreneurs in Indonesia, and she is a mentor in Endeavor Indonesia. Through her involvement in the Indonesian Angel Investment Network and Endeavor Indonesia, Cindy channels her passion to empower Indonesian women in developing their entrepreneurial skills.

Cindy’s practice areas are General Corporate, M&A, Banking and Finance, Infrastructure, Restructuring and Insolvency, Investment and Start-Up. Cindy is fully licensed to represent clients and appear in the Republic of Indonesia courts.
